Crying Without You
Your tears shine like rubies in the
moonlight. I can only shed diamonds
without you in the sunlight. I miss you
in the day. I lay by your side & whisper
your name like an easy tide. Until you
wake, I’ll be laying clear crystals,
enough to build a lake. A life as yours
is full of sin, while mine is only empty
